Honeymoon Promotions For Professional Wedding Photographers

Wednesday, February 3rd, 2010

I am a pro who learned a long while gone that making money in a business is not always about being the best. Sure youhave to be well qualified and be in a position to do your job well but none of that matters if clients do not know you exist. Marketing is the key to getting new clients and staying in business. With the recession is full swing I believed I should branch out and help other photographers in non competing markets stay ahead of the game. I started my photography promotion web site. Sure I had lots of great promoting and promotion concepts to list but I wanted to have something directed at wedding photographers. I wanted to offer discounted travel and honeymoon packages that could be given away or sold at bridal shows. If youhave ever paid thousands to display at a large bridal show you know how it feels to see not simply a few but lots of potential cliens walk by your display as if you’re not there. Most likely because at least 1/2 those attending already have photography sorted and have no real interest in comparing your services. I believed if you could add a great Honeymoon Travel Banner the the display you would attract your client what desires photography but also many of those who do n’t.
Benefits Include

  • No Add on fees
  • Attract More Clients at Bridal Show
  • Cruises from $49.00
  • Discount 4 -5 Star Hotels
  • No Long Term Obligation

I found a discount travel program with 2 parts. One part is an extraordinary travel site for self booking of flights, hotels, villas and automobiles. You could rent a Villa in France for less than it cost staying at an a local medium priced hotel for 2-3 days. After some research I was sold on the concept. The other side of the business is promoting. It is based on selling memberships and even offers lower priced travel bargains. I did some more research and found real savings as much as $300.00 per individual when I compared exact resorts and flights. Links are avvailable at my photography promotion site if you want more details.

Another amazing deal were the promotional offers they’d available. I could give my clients and possible clients a $25.00 Dining Certificate good at close to twelve thousand restaurants and pay only $2.50 for the certificate. If you want to make a client satisfied give them a present they can actually use and enjoy. As a side benefit when given out at trade shows I don’t have to take names because on registration for the gift token the information is sent direct to my email box. This was a win-win for everybody. This is not only a great travel site for wedding photographers needing additional promotion and income but the business traveler who needs a more acceptable price and more selection on flights and hotels. Independent studies show that this site was the most competitive price virtually 68% of the time when compared to well known travel discounters.

If somebody is looking out for a ready to use business and have the self-determination to go out after new business thsi would be a great part-time venture and could turn into a fulltime profession within a year or 2. Have a look and see what you think.

How to travel cheaply.

Thursday, May 28th, 2009

To travel cheaply there are a few things you need to know and the most obvious is how to get the best deal for what you want to do and where you want to go. One of the travel secrets is you need to be careful if you take this approach because you may get the cheapest deal on the most expensive resort in the area in peak season but you will not be traveling cheaply. It is all a matter of proportions and budget. Tailoring your needs, want and budget can be an interesting balancing act when you are traveling.

Be a spur of the moment traveler.

I know that many of you will not like this idea but be an opportunist traveler. This means making spur of the moment decisions about where you go and what you do based on the best deal you can get for your money. This can be exciting and fun as well as cheap and just like going on a constant adventure. If you are prepared to take what you can get at the last minute whether it is accommodation, airfares or activities; you can end up in some of the most exciting places, doing things you never dreamed of and experiencing the cultures of the world.

You can also save one by taking a bus for a part of the journey. If the journey consist of two parts, use a bus for one part and fly for the other part. You can also take a courier flight which will cut your costs considerably.

Other things to think about is drinking and eating the same way as the locals instead of expecting to eat the same way as you would at home. Local food and drink will be a lot cheaper than expecting steak and a beer which is likely to be imported. You don’t have to spend money on activities – take part in a street festival in Mexico instead of paying to go to a restaurant and bar. Pay a local guide to take you around the local sights and countryside instead of going on a commercial guided tour. Just remember, if you don’t haggle with people when you travel you will never get a discount and if you can’t get a discount after you haggle, walk away as there is always an alternative that costs you less.

Arrange for your own accommodation.

When traveling for an extended period of time, try getting some private accommodation instead of staying in an hotel for days. This will help to keep your budget low on accommodation.

If you are an opportunistic traveler, a whole world could open up to you in terms of how much savings you can make. Obviously, this is not suited for family travel. But if you are just alone or you are two, you have a lot of travel deals that could be awaiting you.
